San Juan College Creative Arts Center
RSA is providing programming and conceptual design services for the new Creative Arts Center at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico. The College is planning a 12,000 sf addition to the Henderson Fine Arts Center. The arts education center currently provides the core for the Fine and Performing Arts Departments of the College and serves as a community performing arts theater. The existing art wing features an gallery showcasing works by both student and local artist. The program document, completed in December 2008, was generated through a series of workshops involving faculty and administration. Jointly the program participants and RSA determined the needs assessment and project vision. The project will include reprogramming the existing ceramics, painting, graphic design, sculpture, and printmaking studio as well as laboratory areas. |
