- The new RSA-designed Art Gallery of Alberta in Edmonton celebrated its two-day opening event on January 31 and February 1, 2010. The 85,000 sf addition/renovation is centered on new celebratory public event areas including the entry lobby, Gallery Great Hall, multi-purpose theatre, café, museum store, Member’s Lounge, and outdoor sculpture terrace.

Dockweiler State Beach Youth Center celebrated its public dedication on October 21, 2009. The new 8,800 sf multi-purpose facility will be the southern headquarters for the Los Angeles County W.A.T.E.R (Water Awareness, Training, Education and Recreation) youth education programming.

- The Taubman Museum of Art has been awarded a 2009 International Architecture Award by The Chicago Athenaeum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. - The Taubman Museum of Art, located in downtown Roanoke, Virginia, opened to the public on November 8. The 81,000 square foot structure is the first purpose-built art museum ever constructed in the city and a significant step in the further development of the region as an arts destination of national and international stature. - Dockweiler Beach Youth Center
was honored with a Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Commission Award. Held in conjunciton with the 2008 AIA-Los Angeles Design Awards, CAC Design Awards recognize excellence in Los Angeles civic architecture. The award jury said of the Dockweiler project that the "design breaks with the traditional form of structures at the beach in a reinterpretation that is successful and admirable."
- The Steinhude Sea Recreational Facility was recently featured in the AIA COTE Whitepaper: The New Architecture of the Sun and Wind: An Ecological Aesthetic and Ethos of Design by Mary Guzowski.

- The Chicago Athenaeum announced that the Art Museum of Western Virginia will be recognized with a 2007 American Architecture Award. The project will be featured with other 2007 winners in the “New American Architecture” exhibition to open in New York in November.

- Randall Stout was named the E. Fay Jones Visiting Professor at the University of Arkansas School of Architecture for the Spring 2007 semester. This visiting professorship, funded by a generous gift from Don and Ellen Edmondson, recognizes and builds upon world renowned Arkansas architect E. Fay Jones’s lasting contributions to teaching, research, and public service.
