  • Randall Stout Architects is pleased to announce our new Senior Associates Krista Scheib and David Rodriguez and Associates Niel Prunier and Jennifer Lathrop.
  • Construction continues on the new Art Museum of Western Virginia in Roanoke, Virginia. The 81,600 square foot facility will be completed in the Fall of 2008. Live images of the construction site.
  • The Steinhude Sea Recreational Facility was recently featured in the AIA COTE Whitepaper: The New Architecture of the Sun and Wind: An Ecological Aesthetic and Ethos of Design by Mary Guzowski. AIA COTE White Paper.
  • The Chicago Athenaeum announced that the Art Museum of Western Virginia will be recognized with a 2007 American Architecture Award. The project will be featured with other 2007 winners in the “New American Architecture” exhibition to open in New York in November. American Architecture Awards 2007.
  • Randall Stout Architects, Inc. was selected as one of five design teams to participate in an architectural competition for the new Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University. Read Competition Director Joseph Giovannini's article featured in November's Interior Design Magazine.
  • Randall Stout was named the E. Fay Jones Visiting Professor at the University of Arkansas School of Architecture for the Spring 2007 semester. This visiting professorship, funded by a generous gift from Don and Ellen Edmondson, recognizes and builds upon world renowned Arkansas architect E. Fay Jones’s lasting contributions to teaching, research, and public service.
  • Randall Stout Architects, Inc. has been awarded the commission for the newly renamed Art Gallery of Alberta. Groundbreaking is set to begin in the Fall of 2007 for a projected opening of Fall 2009.
  • RSA was awarded the Innovative Design in Structural Steel (IDEAS2) Award for the Hunter Museum of American Art by the American Institute for Steel Construction 2006.
  • The Steinhude Sea Recreational Facility was recognized with a 2006 AIA/LA Decade Honor Award by the AIA Los Angeles Chapter. The awards program was held in conjuncture with this 2006 National AIA Conference hosted in Los Angeles.
  • RSA has received the 2006 AIA Gulf States Region Merit Award for the Hunter Museum of American Art; the museum received a 2005 Design Award from the AIA Tennessee.
